Celebrities don’t always shy away from the camera, but like most of us, they too need to get away from it all.             This 213-acre property has received bids from buyers that reached $200,000,000.  The lavish estate that has a spectacular view of the ocean is rumored to be the Donald’s favorite.  Now a private club for Mr. Trumps closest and riches friends, Mar-A-Largo has been one of the landmark properties in Mr. Trump’s extensive record of personal wealth.

2. John Travolta’s House in Santa Barbara, California

            An aviation enthusiast, this Hollywood actor’s home comes with a 1.4-mile airstrip for his privately owned planes.  This airport-looking home has two outbuildings that can accommodate two taxing airplanes and is directly connected to the main house.  Mr. Tavolta’s love for flying can be seen in his choice of architecture and interior design as the entire house is built on high-end construction materials used in most airports. 

3.  Oprah Winfrey’s Ocean side Mansion in Southern California

            Ms. O’s class and taste couldn’t be more evident as you walk through this mansion she likes to call “her haven by the beach”.  This vacation home of the famous TV icon is rumored to have been bought for more than 60 million dollars and is considered to be one of the most beautiful houses in America.  This house has also seen its share of celebrity parties hosted by Ms. Winfrey like the famous Heroes Ball and the up and coming Fundraiser Gala for her favorite Senator and Presidential candidate Barrack Obama.

To call these properties as mere “houses” would be an understatement.  These vacation homes truly reflect the luxurious lifestyles most Hollywood actors live.  Getting the privacy and space most celebrities need could cost them a lot.  But then again, to be a Hollywood celebrity means you don’t have to look at the price tag.
