Bourgas is the second largest city on the Black sea coast, and the fourth largest city in Bulgaria (population of 250 000 people), where numerous festival events are held. Pomorie, Nessebar, Sunny Beach, St. Vlas, Elenite, etc. are situated north from Bourgas and Sozopol, Tsarevo, Ahtopol – south from it.

Another summer musical event in Bourgas is the National Contest for Funny Song “Bourgas and the Sea”. It is held during the first week of August. Thus, the music fans can stay for a month in Bourgas and enjoy both sea and culture.
